PHOTOGRAPHY FOR TEENS JULY 24-27, 2017 1000-1400
OPEN ONLY TO MCAS IWAKUNI STUDENTS AGES 14-18
Explore your creativity this summer with my Summer Photography Workshop for Teens!
This four-day workshop will cover genres of photography, composition and techniques, camera control, lighting and more.
A GREAT VALUE!
I have always dreamed of educating young photographers and helping them really dive into the creativity and art of photography, which is why I am offering a four-day, 20-hour workshop (a $500 value) for $100 this summer, with a $25 non-refundable reservation fee. PLEASE SIGN-UP BY JUNE 30!
I will show my students the differences between mediocre and stunning images through the use of various photographic techniques and equipment. I will help them understand the science of photography and how their camera and lens operate. And, on the last day of the workshop, the students will really get to test their newfound knowledge and collaborate together to create a self portrait!
An opportunity to create something magnificent!
This workshop is open to four (4) students between the ages 14-18 and residing on MCAS Iwakuni. The students must have access to an ILC (interchangeable lens camera, i.e. Nikon or Canon DSLR or equivalent) and be able to attend the workshop on base in my studio/workspace. (Light refreshments will be available for the morning hours. Lunch will not be provided; however, the students are welcome to bring lunch to eat during our 30 min lunch break.)
OPTIONAL – I will also have available an optional post-processing course on the following day after the workshop, July 28, for any student who wishes to learn how to digitally edit their images, for $100. This optional course will show how to post-process images to really make them stand-out among the masses using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop programs. The student MUST have access to a laptop/portable electronic device that can access and use these Adobe programs. Free trials can be found online at Adobe Creative Cloud. More information about this workshop can be found here.
